Questions about Global Missions?

building strong foundations

The local church in an undisclosed North African country is working to build strong foundations of theological integrity in pastors and church leaders. Over the years, they have sent key students abroad for theological education. Most of these students have not returned. In response, the church has built an approach for theological education that sends students out for teaching modules in France and northern Africa.

While the church strengthens its own ranks, SIM assists by filling out a list of French-speaking theological educators that can dedicate two weeks per year to teaching in this country.

The Church is growing at a rate of 15 percent per year here. The need for strong pastors is essential. Knowing that it is the largest church in North Africa, the church also has a vision for missions. The need for well-trained missionaries is crucial.
