The heart of SIM is to equip God’s church. That means empowering new believers to share their faith, reach their community, and disciple other new believers. Discipleship can happen in a formal training program, or it can be as simple as living in community and modeling what it looks like to follow Jesus.

TYPES OF DISCIPLESHIP AND CHURCH DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES

Training future ministry leaders
Engaging in authentic life-on-life relationships
Sharing deep conversations in one-on-one or small group settings

Teaching others to study God’s Word and equipping them to help others do the same
Training Sunday school teachers and lay leaders
Casting vision and equipping local churches to grow and multiply

In the last three years, through this oral Bible method and new discipleship materials, we’re in a second wave of church planting. These churches who have been here a long time are raising up second-generation Christians who are going out into unreached areas.
