What is the country’s vision for ministry?

Almost 120 years after the first missionaries came to Bolivia to reach the unreached people groups of the Andes, the Bolivian Church is increasingly engaging in missions. More and more Bolivians are responding to God’s call to make disciples. At the same time there are still a lot of communities within this beautiful and diverse country where the good news of Jesus Christ is hardly known.

Is there an overall team strategy?

For the last few years, the team in Bolivia has been reviewing and exploring new possibilities and seeking wisdom with other currently ministries.

What is the cultural make-up of the team?

The cultural make up of the Bolivia team is diverse. We have missionaries from Bolivia, Argentina, India, USA, Scotland, Wales, Philippines, England, Colombia, Malaysia, Netherlands, and Canada.

What language will the student be studying?

Embark students will have the opportunity to study Spanish while they are here. We partner with a local school and can practice with other students and host families.
