Step 1:

Complete a short Initial Inquiry online. An SIM staff member will contact you and personally guide you through the next steps. 

Step 2:

Complete a pre-application online (one per family unit).

Step 3:

Complete a full application online (separate application for each individual). 

Once you have applied, you will be able to track online your progress through the remainder of your selection process using the same logon and password you defined for your application.

After we receive your application, various assessments will be made which allow us to better prepare you for cross-cultural service. These include:

• Medical History and Physical Exam - evaluated by our mission-experienced medical staff
• Training Worksheet - identifies your Biblical and cross-cultural training needs
• Doctrinal Assessment - evaluates your ability to apply your beliefs to real-life, cross-cultural situations
• Psychological - identifies your emotional and relational preparedness to serve in another culture.

NOTE: All application materials are handled confidentially in accordance with the Authorization for Release of Information which will be sent for your signature.
