Life was hectic and as I washed my glasses, God seemed to say, “Check the screw on your glasses frame.”
For years one screw has periodically loosened and at times a lens has actually fallen out of the frame. So I checked and sure enough, the screw was very loose. I got the screwdriver and tightened it.
At that point I was moved to tears — OVERWHELMED — at the thought that THE GOD OF THE UNIVERSE was so intimately concerned — unbeknown to me — with a loose screw on my glasses frames. I was stunned! I thought of the Scripture that speaks of sparrows falling (Matt 10:29) and their Maker knowing about each one.
As I told what had happened to me to several of our retirees or staff that day, I think God used it to remind them also, that He lovingly cares for us each day and that is not about to change anytime soon. I pray you too will see His loving care in your daily lives and rejoice in OUR GREAT GOD!
