While we were preparing this issue of Harvest, I felt an overwhelming sense of gratitude that God has chosen SIM, our partner ministries, and faithful friends as a channel to fulfill the promises of salvation and redemption He made through the prophet Isaiah. Isaiah begins the sixty-first chapter by . . .

Teaching the value of healthy personal relationships to build a community of believers who embrace Kingdom living.
As God reveals His plans in a provincial capital along the Silk Road of China, mission workers are making steady progress in creating a permanent library and classroom where they will serve the Lord and build a stronger community.

"The Father's timing is perfect and sure. Many good things have come together simultaneously, and we can only give Him thanks and praise for opening all the doors in perfect sequential order," reports project manager Jeyne.

Answering the prayers of supporters like you, God touched the heart of the landlord who owns the space that The Lighthouse Center will soon call home--and moved him to accept an initial deposit of just three months' rent instead of the customary six months'! He also has offered to furnish the offices with desks, chairs, and lockers as well as donate six air conditioners to the mission!

The Lighthouse Center serves to build His Kingdom
through family relationship classes such as Dating Safe-Dating Well classes, pre-marital and marriage training classes, pre-natal care, parenting classes, and one-to-one counseling. All these are urgently needed in a country where the rate of divorce and violence within families is growing and the government enforces a strict population control program.

Now, with the financial support of friends like you, they are prayerfully looking forward to a permanent home for The Lighthouse Center. They are eager to serve the Lord by helping build a community of believers whose eyes are fixed on God, who embrace Kingdom values, and who are capable of impacting their world for Him.
